Our Sixth Form centres offer education of the highest quality. We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring individual to join the team to deliver to a high standard and enable all learners to achieve to the best of their ability. Our colleges are part of the Welsh Government Seren Network scheme designed to support the most able to realise their full academic potential and progress to the best Universities.
The successful candidate will be expected to be teaching at the Pwllheli campus on Mondays and Wednesdays, and the Dolgellau campus on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The role offers a modern, well‑equipped environment with support from a dedicated technician. Applicants may have previous teaching experience, though subject experts willing to take their first steps into teaching are also welcomed.

- Design and deliver engaging lessons that challenge students and foster a love for the subject.
- Provide excellent extracurricular experiences.
- Lead exploratory trips and subject enrichment opportunities.
- Maintain quality through high‑quality feedback and interventions to ensure every student reaches or exceeds target grades.
- Ensure that the Grwp's policies and procedures are followed.
- Support learners to succeed, achieving their targets and higher by stretching and challenging them.
Consideration will be given to applications on a fractional 0.8108 basis.

- Holiday Entitlement: 46 days leave per annum. All normally observed public holidays, determined annually. Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum, determined annually.
- Working Pattern: 37 hours per week, 835 hours annual teaching time – 24 to 26 hours teaching per week, up to 5 hours per week working off site in agreement with manager.
