This role involves being responsible for the support and delivery of Business & Digital work‐based Management qualifications to a caseload of learners at levels 4&5. The Assessor is responsible for delivery of training, assessment and marking of learners' work. On a daily basis, the role involves meeting with learners and employers in different workplace settings, college sites or remotely, working independently and ensuring compliance with qualification requirements.

The Assessor requires the skills to make the best use of time and provide resources and support to meet the individual needs of each learner in the language of their choice. The Assessor will be one of a team of Assessors and Lecturers within Busnes@GLLM and will ensure that the service provided to the learner is of the highest possible quality, provides value for money, meets the needs of the employer and the students under training, and reflects the mission, values and aims of the college.

  • Salary: £29,878 - £32,423 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience
  • Place of Work: Bangor
  • Home working: Work location to be confirmed St. Asaph
  • Holiday Entitlement: 28 days leave per annum, rising to 32 days after 5 full holiday years' continuous service (01 September to 31 August). All normally observed public holidays, determined annually. Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum, determined annually.
  • Working Pattern: 37 hours per week
