This role is within the Art area of the Creative Arts Programme Area at Coleg Menai, and is located at the Art campus in Parc Menai. The success of the Art courses is renowned and respected throughout Wales and beyond, with alumni having gone on to success both nationally and internationally within the Art sector. This is an opportunity for an Art lecturer to join our successful, dynamic and supportive team. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high standards of teaching and learning within the area of their expertise and give ongoing support, advice and guidance to students that promotes success.
Key Expectations of the Role:
- Provide high quality teaching, create effective opportunities for learning and enable all learners to achieve to the best of their ability.
- Provide excellent extracurricular experiences for our learners.
- Maintain the high standards of the provision with the support given to the learners.
- Ensure that the Grŵp’s policies and procedures are followed.
- Support learners to succeed in order to achieve their targets or higher, challenging and stretching our learners.

- Holiday Entitlement: 46 days leave per annum, all normally observed public holidays, up to 5 days efficiency closure days; part‑time contracts receive a pro‑rata entitlement.
- Working Pattern: 22.5 hours per week, 508 hours annual teaching time (14.5‑15.5 teaching hours per week), up to 3 hours per week working on site in agreement with manager.
