Job Purpose: To provide high quality teaching, to create effective opportunities for learning and to enable all learners to achieve to the best of their ability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver high-quality NCFE Level 2 and Level 3 courses, while also facilitating the Welsh Baccalaureate.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lectures for our learners; administer, assess and ensure quality for these duties.
- Encourage the use of practical and active teaching and learning methodologies, bringing learning to life.
- Apply knowledge and examples from your experiences to the teaching and learning delivered.
Qualifications: Enthusiastic and dynamic individual with experience in the travel industry who can provide learners with an in-depth understanding of the opportunities, challenges and rewards of a career in the Travel and Tourism industry.
Job Details:
- Salary: £27,239 - £42,106 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience
- Place of Work: Bangor
- Holiday Entitlement: 46 days leave per annum. All normally observed public holidays, determined annually. Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum, determined annually. Part Time contracts will receive a pro rata entitlement to the above.
- Working Pattern: 30 hours per week. 677 hours annual teaching time – 19 to 21 hours teaching per week. Up to 4 hours per week working on site in agreement with manager.
