The BUSKERTEERS CHOIR is looking for self-employed singer-guitarists or pianists to join our team of Choir Leaders. This is a paid role (£400 per week during term time), running Monday–Thursday evenings. You’ll be teaching pop and rock songs in harmony to our busking choirs, using simple vocal arrangements we provide.

Key responsibilities:

  • Teach pop and rock songs in harmony to our busking choirs, using simple vocal arrangements provided
  • Lead or support group singing in an engaging, fun and supportive atmosphere
  • Contribute to planning and running rehearsals and performances during term time

Qualifications and preferences:

  • Have experience leading or teaching groups
  • Have a strong ear for harmony
  • Based in the East of England and/or Midlands

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car
  • Your own basic rig (small PA, mic, instrument, and a device for backing tracks)
