Businesswise Solutions is an energy procurement and consultancy business supporting clients with energy purchasing, pricing strategy, supplier management and wider cost-reduction opportunities. We work closely with industrial and commercial customers to deliver tailored procurement solutions across both fixed and flexible energy contracts.

This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days per week in our Nelson (Lancashire) office.

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Head of Pricing to lead and develop our pricing function. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in the UK energy market who can take ownership of pricing strategy, supplier pricing analysis, contract comparison and customer pricing support. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping client pricing recommendations, supporting the commercial team, and ensuring the business maintains a high-quality and competitive approach to both fixed and flexible energy procurement.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Leading the pricing function across electricity and gas procurement activities
  • Prepare, review and manage customer pricing submissions for both fixed and flexible contracts
  • Analyse supplier offers and build clear pricing comparisons for internal teams and clients
  • Support the development of pricing strategies aligned to market conditions and customer risk appetite
