BusinessOptix is a dynamic business and technology solutions company with proven expertise across multiple industry sectors engaged in the development and support of an application using leading edge and proprietary platforms and tools. BusinessOptix provides powerful digital acceleration and business transformation that helps companies supercharge innovation and optimize their operations.

The AI Engineer will own the AI pipeline layer at BusinessOptix — the systems responsible for orchestrating large language model (LLM) interactions, and executing multi-stage processing workflows. This is a highly autonomous, hands-on engineering role focused on building production‑grade AI capabilities that deliver real business value. Rather than training machine learning models from scratch, you will design, build, and maintain the infrastructure and workflows that leverage state‑of‑the‑art AI models to solve complex customer problems at scale. Working closely with Product, Front‑End Engineering, and Customer teams, you will help shape how AI is embedded throughout the BusinessOptix platform and how customers interact with AI‑powered process intelligence solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable AI pipelines that orchestrate LLM interactions and process complex data workflows.
  • Develop systems for document ingestion, audio processing, transcription handling, information extraction, process analysis, knowledge structuring and chat.
  • Build asynchronous, multi‑stage processing pipelines capable of handling large‑scale workloads reliably and efficiently.
  • Integrate AI‑generated outputs into BusinessOptix products and customer‑facing workflows.
  • Configure and customise AI pipelines to meet specific customer requirements and use cases.
  • Prototype, evaluate, and implement new AI capabilities and technologies.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues within AI services and processing pipelines.
  • Optimize system performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency across AI workloads.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Front‑End Engineering, and Customer Success teams to deliver impactful AI solutions.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions, engineering standards, and best practices for AI‑enabled systems.

In the course of business, other duties will be assigned to this position. This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
