About the Role

2 years experience in teaching in school with a bachelor's and master's in education with a relevant degree and hands-on experience in managing classes for English, Mathematics, and Science and homeroom.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons to students in classroom and/or online settings
  • Teach according to the educational needs, abilities, and achievement levels of individual students and groups
  • Work towards the implementation of the school development plan
  • Assign, correct, and assess student work in accordance with established policies and guidelines
  • Assess, record, and report on student development, progress, attainment, and behaviour
  • Contribute to oral and written assessments, reports, and references for individual students or groups
  • Communicate, consult, and collaborate with teaching staff, leadership, and parents/guardians to support students’ best interests
  • Participate in in-service training, professional development programs, and action research initiatives
  • Maintain good order and discipline while safeguarding students’ health and safety at all times
  • Attend and contribute to staff, curriculum, and administrative meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (on-campus) in a related subject
  • Full-time teaching experience of minimum 2 years
  • PGCE or QTS certification is a MUST
  • Two professional reference details to be provided at the time of application
  • An offer of employment is contingent upon a clear criminal background check
