Overview
My client is a market leading manufacturer, installer & service provider for security alarm and personal call systems, established in 1992 and with an expanding portfolio of projects and clients. They provide services to various clients and have engineers based in several parts of the UK. They are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the sales team. You will be based from home and expected to carry out calls and site visits to existing clients and potential new customers. The successful candidate will be travelling around the Southeast of England from Lincolnshire to Essex. Upon joining the company, you will be given full training on products, projects and processes, shown how to use internal IT systems and given a breakdown on how the business operates. Progression opportunities will be offered to the successful candidate and the chance to build a career with my client. You will be operating your sales skills in the public sector and most of the clients will be hospitals, prisons, care homes and schools.
Main Responsibilities
- Proactively develop business with a portfolio of key customer accounts.
- High level client and account management.
- Provide advice to clients regarding integrated security solutions.
- Introduce a range of integrated security solutions to clients.
- Effective communication with existing customers.
- The compilation of effective tender proposals.
- Prepare quotations and tenders.
- Travelling to client sites to discuss projects and requirements.
- Building long-term relationships with clients.
