Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (negotiated on experience) + car and bonus

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 to 17:15

Overview:

My client is a market leading manufacturer, installer & service provider for security alarm and personal call systems, established in 1992. They provide services to various clients and have Engineers based throughout the UK. They are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the sales team as an Account Manager. You will be based remotely and expected to carry out calls and site visits to existing clients and potential new customers. The successful candidate will be travelling around the Midlands and East of England, covering counties such as Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.

Upon joining the company, you will receive full training on products, projects and processes, shown how to use internal IT systems and given a breakdown on how the business operates. Progression opportunities will be offered to the successful candidate, providing the chance to build a career with my client. You will utilise your sales skills in the public sector, with most clients being hospitals, prisons, care homes and schools.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Proactively develop business with a portfolio of key customer accounts.
  • High level client and account management.
  • Provide advice to clients regarding integrated security solutions.
  • Introduce a range of integrated security solutions to clients.
  • Effective communication with existing customers.
  • The compilation of effective tender proposals.
  • Prepare quotations and tenders.
  • Travelling to client sites to discuss projects and requirements.
  • Building long-term relationships with clients.
