At Business Show Media, we have been organising trade exhibitions for over 25 years and run some of the world's largest business events that support small business owners, entrepreneurs, and start-ups aiming to grow, expand, and enter new international markets. Recently, we launched shows in Las Vegas, Miami, Singapore, and Sydney.
Following our recent growth and the acquisition of the White Label Series of events, we are seeking an internal recruiter to help build and develop teams across our UK, Sydney, and Singapore offices.
Whatβs the opportunity?
You will develop hiring strategies for our international offices and be responsible for conducting interviews and managing the hiring process before passing candidates to departmental managers. You will also oversee onboarding, training, and handle day-to-day HR queries.
We are looking for a confident, ambitious individual with experience in recruitment, sales, customer service, or similar people-facing roles.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sourcing candidates via job listings, headhunting, networking, and events
- Conducting initial interviews to vet candidates before passing to hiring managers
- Contributing ideas to develop the global hiring strategy
- Onboarding new employees and supporting their induction
- Supporting training for new hires
- Providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Managing employee records, contracts, and compliance requirements
