About Us
Business Show Media is a fast‑growing media and events company delivering award‑winning B2B trade shows across the UK and beyond. We bring together entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and ambitious brands through high‑impact live events. Our shows are bold, busy, and buzzing – and we need someone who matches that energy.
The Role
We’re looking for a high‑energy, confident, people‑loving Marketing Executive to join our Bristol team. This is not a “sit quietly behind a screen” marketing job. A major part of this role is actively reaching out to partners, industry leaders and keynote speakers, getting them excited about our events and securing their involvement. There’s a strong outreach and relationship‑building element, so if you love picking up the phone, sparking conversations and persuading people to say “yes”, you’ll thrive here.
You’ll be promoting some of the UK’s most exciting business shows, helping us grow attendance, secure high‑profile speakers and build powerful partnerships. We want someone bubbly, outgoing and confident – the kind of person who brings energy into the room.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively reach out to potential keynote speakers, partners and collaborators
- Pitch the value of speaking and partnering at our events
- Build and manage relationships with senior decision‑makers and industry leaders
- Support multi‑channel marketing campaigns (email, social, web, print)
- Create engaging promotional content
- Drive audience growth and event registrations
- Track outreach performance and campaign results
- Work closely with the wider events and sales teams to hit ambitious targets
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years’ experience in marketing
- A confident communicator who is comfortable speaking to senior professionals
- High energy, enthusiastic, and naturally persuasive
- Resilient and motivated – not afraid to pick up the phone
- Organised and able to manage multiple conversations and campaigns
- A team player who thrives in a fast‑paced office environment
- Comfortable working on‑site in our Bristol office
If you’re someone who loves engaging with people, can command attention, and enjoys the buzz of hitting targets – we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Get
- ÂŁ28,000 base salary + commission
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
- A lively, ambitious, and supportive team
- Real responsibility and visibility from day one
- Clear progression opportunities as we continue to grow
- The chance to work on large‑scale national business events
