The Opportunity
This is an entry point into a high-performance sales career with genuine progression. As a Business Development Associate, you’ll focus on building new business opportunities, connecting with decision-makers, sparking interest, and creating a strong pipeline for the sales team. Your work will directly impact revenue and event growth. If you’re driven and consistent, you’ll quickly progress into a closing role, with a clear path toward becoming an Event Sales Manager.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Proactively sourcing and qualifying new business opportunities
- Reaching out to decision-makers via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Building early-stage relationships with potential exhibitors and sponsors
- Understanding client goals and identifying where our events can add value
- Booking qualified meetings and handing over warm opportunities to sales
- Keeping pipeline and activity data organised and up to date
- Collaborating with internal teams to maximise lead generation
