Overview
This is an entry-level sales role designed as the starting point of a long-term commercial career. We are recruiting for our UK and US teams, both Bristol based initially, so it depends on individual preferences of shift patterns. You’ll begin in business development, learning how international exhibitions are built, sold, and delivered. As you perform, you’ll progress into event management, senior sales roles, and ultimately leadership or directorship positions. This is not a short-term sales job; it’s a career pathway into the global events industry. No previous sales experience is required. Full training is provided from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Researching and identifying potential exhibitors and sponsors
- Speaking with business owners and senior decision-makers via phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Qualifying prospects and presenting relevant exhibition opportunities
- Booking meetings and managing opportunities through the sales process
- Supporting international sales and marketing campaigns
- Learning how large-scale global events are commercially structured
- Working closely with senior sales leaders and event teams
- Progressing into event management, coordination, or leadership roles as you develop
