At Business Show Media, we have been organising trade exhibitions for over 20 years and run business events globally in London, Las Vegas, Miami, Singapore & Sydney. We are a fast growing company and offer rapid routes to progression, paired with lucrative incentives, bonuses & commission structures.

We are looking for someone confident and enthusiastic, who is able to use their own initiative to join our marketing team to help promote the event across a variety of platforms and ensure the shows run successfully. This is a target based role and as such will require extra hours when targets are behind.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in planning and executing our show campaign to help achieve visitor registration and attendance goals.
  • Researching, reaching out to, and establishing strong partnerships with relevant associations and industry publications, and maintaining ongoing communication with these partners throughout the event cycle.
  • Sourcing and booking keynote speakers by researching industry leaders and high profile individuals.
  • Creating marketing emails, sales emails and monthly newsletters.
  • Maintaining and regularly updating event websites with the latest show features, speaker information, articles, partner listings, and other relevant content.
  • Using Google Sheets/Excel to organise databases.
  • Continuously generate creative ideas to expand reach and attract new audiences.

Experience needed:

  • Previous experience in a marketing or communications role.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise own workload.
  • Comfortable making phone calls and communicating with show partners and speakers via the phone.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Uses own initiative and thinks outside the box.
  • Willing to put in extra effort and hours when necessary to ensure a successful event.
