About Us

Business Show Media produces some of the world’s largest and fastest-growing business exhibitions, connecting entrepreneurs, SMEs, and senior decision-makers with the ideas, tools, and networks they need to scale. Our flagship events run globally across London, Las Vegas, Miami, Sydney, and Singapore, and we continue to expand internationally. We are known for developing high-performing commercial talent into event managers, senior leaders, and directors within the business.

About the Role

This is an entry-level sales role designed as the starting point of a long-term commercial career. We are looking to recruit for our UK and US teams, both Bristol based initially, so it depends on individual preferences of shift patterns. You’ll begin in business development, learning how international exhibitions are built, sold, and delivered. As you perform, you’ll progress into event management, senior sales roles, and ultimately leadership or directorship positions. This is not a short-term sales job, it’s a career pathway into the global events industry. No previous sales experience is required. Full training is provided from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Researching and identifying potential exhibitors and sponsors
  • Speaking with business owners and senior decision-makers via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Qualifying prospects and presenting relevant exhibition opportunities
  • Booking meetings and managing opportunities through the sales process
  • Supporting international sales and marketing campaigns
  • Learning how large-scale global events are commercially structured
  • Working closely with senior sales leaders and event teams
  • Progressing into event management, coordination, or leadership roles as you develop

Career Progression & Global Opportunities

High performers can expect:

  • Promotion into Event Management or Senior Commercial roles
  • International travel to major global exhibitions
  • Long-term opportunities to relocate to North America, Asia, or Australia
  • Clear routes toward management, leadership, and directorship positions

Your progression is based on performance, not tenure.

Who This Role Is For

We hire for attitude and potential, not background. This role is ideal for:

  • Graduates (open to degree)
  • College leavers (open to different courses)
  • Career changers (keen to speak to people who want to get into sales)
  • Existing sales or business development professionals looking for a better environment, stronger earnings, and clearer progression

You’ll succeed if you are:

  • Ambitious, motivated, and coachable
  • Comfortable speaking to people and building rapport
  • Interested in business, sales, and global events
  • Resilient and driven in a target-focused environment
  • Based in or able to commute to Bristol (office-based role)

What We Offer

  • £25,000 - £29,000 base salary (depending on experience)
  • Uncapped commission (realistic £50k–£60k Year1)
  • Top performers earning £100k+
  • Structured sales and commercial training
  • Clear progression into event management and leadership
  • International travel and relocation opportunities
  • Supportive, high-energy team culture
  • Incentives, rewards, and regular team socials

Application Process

If you’re looking to build a serious sales career with global opportunities, clear progression, and uncapped earning potential, we’d love to speak with you. Apply now and start your career in international business and events.
