Underwriter/deal structurer – asset based lending – South of England Our client, a well-established, growing commercial finance provider, seeks an experienced Underwriting and Deal Structuring professional to join their asset based lending team in the South East.The role will involve acting as a conduit between the new business team and the organisation\’s credit committee, structuring and completing acceptable credit applications in line with the company\’s credit policy. Typically this role will include collateral assessment, financial forecasting and the in-depth analysis of complex financial accounts.This is a senior role that will involve liaising closely with both the business development team and risk teams to negotiate and structure complex lending transactions and ensure there are effective processes in place. There will be also a requirement for accurate preparation of legal documentation involving negotiation with internal and external legal teams. You will operate with a lending mandate in addition to overseeing other technical areas of credit and risk.It is essential that the successful candidate will have previous underwriting experience in a similar lending environment and have the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial information.
