Overview: The role involves acting as a conduit between the new business team and the organisation’s credit committee, structuring and completing credit applications in line with the company’s credit policy. The role typically includes collateral assessment, financial forecasting and in-depth analysis of complex financial accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a conduit between the new business team and the credit committee; structure and complete credit applications in line with the company’s credit policy.
- Carry out collateral assessment, financial forecasting and in-depth analysis of complex financial accounts.
- Liaise closely with the business development team and risk teams to negotiate and structure complex lending transactions and ensure effective processes are in place.
- Prepare legal documentation involving negotiation with internal and external legal teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous underwriting experience in a similar lending environment.
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex financial information.
- Strong communication skills and confidence to support your view.
Travel: Occasional travel around the country.
Salary and Benefits: Excellent basic salary and overall package including generous car allowance, pension, private healthcare and discretionary bonus.
