Overview: The role involves acting as a conduit between the new business team and the organisation's credit committee, structuring and completing credit applications in line with the company's credit policy. Responsibilities:
- Act as a conduit between the new business team and the credit committee; structure and complete credit applications in line with the company's credit policy.
- Carry out collateral assessment, financial forecasting and in-depth analysis of complex financial accounts.
- Liaise closely with the business development team and risk teams to negotiate and structure complex lending transactions and ensure effective processes are in place.
- Prepare legal documentation involving negotiation with internal and external legal teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous underwriting experience in a similar lending environment.
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex financial information.
- Strong communication skills and confidence to support your view.
Travel: Occasional travel around the country.
