Our client, one of the UK's leading independent providers of Financial Services to businesses, requires a Head of Relationship Management to join their team in the South of England.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Line management responsibility of the operations team, including effective recruitment, performance management, and providing ongoing training and development to ensure the team is fit for purpose.
  • Develop and maintain excellent standards of client service through team members to maximise client retention and contract renewals at an acceptable level.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate risk and recoveries management, including regular client reviews and input on high-risk client situations and collect-outs.
  • Support business development activity and growth of the IF portfolio by underwriting new business, promoting group products and undertaking introducer development.
  • Take part in and contribute to team meetings, management meetings and presentations to key stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • 5 years+ experience in client and portfolio management or similar relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build key internal and external relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills (financial and other information/credit searches).
  • Previous experience in a leadership role is preferred, albeit applications will also be welcomed from those candidates currently working in a senior Relationship Management position.
