An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading independent provider of commercial finance solutions to businesses during an exciting period of growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively originate Specialist Property backed Finance opportunities from a network of professional introducers within your designated territory.
- Build and maintain a professional network, including accountants, business advisers, brokers and corporate finance boutiques, via a strategy of frequent and quality contact.
- Structure and package property backed deals of up to £5m, typically over a term of 12-24 months.
- Deliver excellent customer service to prospects and introducers alike, responding to queries promptly and efficiently.
- Demonstrate sound technical, financial analysis and credit risk skills in structuring and positioning deals across the Specialist Property Backed Finance space.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure the smooth transitions of new deals.
- Completion of weekly and monthly sales analysis and reports.
The successful candidate will display an exceptional work ethic, with the ability to work alone whilst being a team player. You will be a proven, tenacious, independent individual who is self-motivated and able to exceed stretching sales targets. You must be able to demonstrate experience working in a sales-related environment, ideally within the Specialist Property Finance sector. Furthermore, you must display competent numerical and literacy skills including the ability to understand and interpret financial accounts.
The successful candidate will be rewarded with a market leading salary + bonus + excellent benefits package. You must also hold a full driving license.
