An experienced Asset Finance Underwriter is sought to join a leading independent provider of Asset Finance solutions during an exciting period of growth. The successful candidate will report to the Credit & Risk Manager and be responsible for drafting and presenting structured credit proposals to the Credit Committee in compliance with credit policy, guidelines and processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform credit reviews and research industry and customer information for all new credit proposals.
- Proactively monitor industry and sector trends for early warning signals.
- Achieve timely turnaround of credit proposals and reviews in accordance with pre-agreed SLAs.
- Coordinate with the Credit & Risk Director, Credit & Risk Manager, Transaction Manager and Sales in connection with all credit proposals.
- Satisfy conditions precedent prior to referring for payout.
- Assist in the ongoing monitoring of clients' financial performance.
Qualifications
- Excellent credit assessment and report writing skills.
- Strong financial analysis, analytical and numerical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong time management capabilities.
- Knowledge of asset finance and asset finance products.
