BMA is a leading fast-growing, high-technology company scaling at pace since 2013. Our UK-based AI powerhouse is revolutionising water, wastewater, and energy infrastructure. Our proprietary Decisioâ„¢ Decision Intelligence platform fuses advanced analytics, data science, and cloud power to empower utilities with holistic, rapid decisions; driving circular economy gains, digital twins, and sustainable planning for national resilience.
The UK’s critical national infrastructure is facing once-in-a-generation challenges driven by climate change, demand growth and changes in population. Massive investment is being put forward to address these diverse and multifaceted challenges. If done in the right way, this investment and change can play a huge role in unlocking a sustainable future. In this role you will join a BMA team helping UK water utilities in their ambitious goal to rebalance ageing infrastructure with climate and water supply resilience, ensuring sustainable water systems and networks for future generations while balancing customer affordability.
Your Impact
As a Value Delivery Consultant at BMA, you will lead the implementation of our Decisioâ„¢ solutions, working closely with UK water and wastewater companies. Taking a whole-systems approach, you'll translate demanding regulations and large, complex datasets into clear, actionable scenarios that balance environmental outcomes, affordability, resilience, and net-zero targets. You'll apply Decisio's AI and digital twin capabilities to generate investment options and drive change with our clients, helping them turn raw and clean water into a resilient, revenue-generating asset amid the biggest sustainability pivot ever, identifying circular economy opportunities and solutions that generate real value.
You will play a pivotal role in advancing our Decisioâ„¢ platform to empower clients with better decisions today and tomorrow. While initially focused on raw and potable water, you will have access to broader opportunities across wastewater systems, bioresources, and energy infrastructure clients as you grow with us.
Key responsibilities

- Lead and attend workshop sessions with business stakeholders from time to time to determine business requirements for end-use cases to be deployed.
- Inform clients' strategic Resource Management Plans and Long-Term Delivery Strategies, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, using the Decisioâ„¢ platform.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support systems planning, offering guidance on efficiency optimisation, energy production enhancement, and resilience planning during critical asset unavailability.
- Learn the core technologies used by BMA and become familiar with the BMA’s proprietary Decision Intelligence software platform, Decisio™, to create detailed digital representations of clients' connected asset systems.
- Gather, transform, and validate data to design. As well as to make use of available technologies to build and validate solution behaviour.
- Conduct comprehensive scenario analysis and network design optimisation to enhance system performance, efficiency, and resilience, considering various operational constraints, environmental factors, and the strategic ambitions of the client.
- Understand existing mathematical models and develop additional logic to meet both internal and clients’ requirements.
- Participate in all aspects of system development, testing, deployment, and feedback with the overarching objective to further enhance and develop Decisioâ„¢ for the benefit of the Company and its customers.
