Volunteer Fundraising Manager

Location: Remote (Flexible Hours) Commitment: Approximately 4–6 hours per week

HomelessNest.org is a registered charity in England and Wales dedicated to supporting individuals and families who are homeless, vulnerably housed, or at risk of homelessness. We provide grants, essential items, and practical services to help people rebuild their lives with dignity and stability.

The Role

We’re looking for a proactive and mission-driven Volunteer Fundraising Manager to help shape and expand our fundraising and philanthropic efforts. This is a flexible, remote volunteer role—ideal for someone with experience in fundraising, grant writing, or donor relations who wants to make a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and funding partners
  • Support grant applications and reporting processes
  • Identify and pursue corporate and philanthropic partnership opportunities
  • Collaborate with our team to promote giving through events and digital platforms

Qualifications

  • Experience or strong aptitudein fundraising, business development, or donor engagement
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for fundraising opportunities
  • Familiarity with the charity sector (preferred but not essential)
