Our partner is a much-loved local charity providing home-from-home short breaks for children and young people aged 0–19 with complex disabilities, while giving their families a much-needed break from care.

Rated Outstanding by Ofsted, they support more than 100 children and young people across Surrey and Hampshire.

The charity has recently opened a second home and is looking for a Treasurer to join the Board as it continues to grow.

Working with the Chair, CEO and Head of Finance, the Treasurer will provide strategic financial oversight, help the Board understand the charity’s financial position, and advise on budgets, reserves, audit, controls and financial governance.

This is a governance and oversight role, not a hands‑on finance management position.

The ideal candidate will be a senior or experienced finance professional, confident interpreting financial information for non‑finance trustees and able to offer constructive challenge.

Charity finance experience would be helpful but is not essential.

The Board meets quarterly, usually in person, with some committee meetings online. Surrey-based candidates are preferred, or those within an easy travelling distance.
