About Norfolk Citizens Advice
For over 85 years, Citizens Advice has been a trusted and independent source of help for people across Norfolk. We exist so that anyone, whatever their circumstances, can access free, confidential and impartial advice when life becomes complex or challenging.
What will you be doing?
As a Trustee, you will play a central role in guiding Norfolk Citizens Advice, ensuring the charity is well-governed, financially secure, and effectively serving the local community. You will help shape the organisation’s strategy, safeguard its reputation, and ensure it continues to deliver high-quality, inclusive services. Trustees work together as a Board, sharing responsibility for governance, long-term strategy, and oversight.
Time commitment and location
Trustees are expected to attend four Board meetings a year, quarterly subcommittee meetings, and two in-person strategy sessions, with most meetings held during weekday afternoons and often online. The overall expected time commitment is around a day a month in total.
