About Us: Greater London Enterprise Finance (GLEF) is an emergent, community-anchored financial intermediary establishing a specialised, wholesale-backed enterprise debt facility. Our mission is to route institutional social capital directly into underserved, high-potential B2B micro and small enterprises across Greater London’s inner & outer boroughs, replacing rigid algorithmic bank rejections with human-centric commercial underwriting.
The Role: We are seeking a Chartered Accountant (ACA/FCA) or senior financial professional to join our founding Board of Directors as Treasury & Audit Committee Chair. This is a critical, pro-bono strategic governance role during our pre-incorporation phase.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design of our transparent capital-tracking and accounting frameworks.
- Formulate balance sheet allocation policies to protect the social asset lock.
- Ensure pristine compliance and financial reporting structures for institutional wholesale capital providers (e.g., Better Society Capital, regional social funds).
What We Are Looking For: A qualified financial professional with a deep understanding of corporate audit, fund mechanics, or corporate governance who wants to leverage their skills to establish a powerful economic legacy in the capital.
