Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Integration Support is a small, local charity with a mission to enable, empower, and support refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants on their journey towards successful integration. We are based in Harlow, Essex. We support communities in and around West Essex and the bordering Hertfordshire towns.
We are seeking a Treasurer to join our friendly Board of trustees to help guide our financial strategy and long-term sustainability.
Responsibilities- Monitoring and advising on the charity’s financial position
- Overseeing budgeting and financial reporting
- Ensuring compliance with charity and financial regulations
- Presenting clear financial reports to the Board of Trustees
- Helping ensure the charity meets its financial and legal obligations
- Contributing to strategic planning and decision-making as a trustee
- You have a good head for numbers; experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping would be ideal.
- You are organised, reliable, and able to explain financial matters clearly.
- You are willing to work collaboratively as part of a small trustee team.
- You have an interest in our cause and preferably live in Harlow or the surrounding area.
Around 4 hours per month, including bi-monthly Board meetings.
LocationWest Essex. We offer hybrid meetings, but would prefer a trustee who can attend in person on occasion.
