Overview
Ware Swimming Club is looking for a treasurer to take over from our incumbent who has been in the role for 3 years. The role requires attendance at monthly Committee meetings and approximately 90 minutes of administration per week. The club is run on a wholly voluntary basis, including our coaching team, which is unique in the county. This ethos of being a community club is critical to the identity of WSC, being run solely for the benefit of swimmers to be the best they can be, and not purely focused on performance. Come and join our team! The club is at an exciting juncture having recently secured additional pool time to set up a new swimming school. This will move the club to a new level of income and finance management. The club also plans to change status from Membership Club to Community Interest Organisation.
Responsibilities
- Attend monthly Committee meetings.
- Perform approximately 90 minutes of administration per week.
- Check training payments received and pay invoices/booking fees.
Qualifications & Qualities
- No swimming experience required.
- Experience with basic financial administration is desirable but not required.
