Change The Youth NW is entering an exciting stage of growth as we continue developing our support for children, young people and families across the North West. Having established strong foundations as a registered charity, we are now looking to strengthen our trustee board with additional skills, experience and leadership.
We are seeking a Deputy Chair of Trustees who can work closely with our Chair of Trustees and wider board to help guide the charity through its next stage of development. Our ambition is to build a diverse, skills-based board that provides strong governance, strategic direction and support as we grow our services, develop partnerships and reach more young people across the region.
The Deputy Chair will play a key role in:
- supporting effective board leadership and development
- providing guidance and constructive challenge
- helping strengthen governance, planning and decision-making
- supporting long-term strategy and sustainability
- chairing meetings when required
- helping trustees work effectively as a team
