About the Role

As Operations Director, you will join Craven Street Wealth's Executive Management Team and lead the continued evolution of our operations as we grow. Responsible for client service, paraplanning, and operational delivery, you will help shape and implement a scalable operating model that supports exceptional client outcomes, operational efficiency, and robust governance. Working closely with the Managing Director, Compliance Director, and wider Executive Management Team, you will play a key role in ensuring the business is well positioned for future growth, regional expansion, and integration opportunities, whilst maintaining the high standards expected of an award-winning Chartered Financial Planning firm. This is a strategic leadership role for someone who enjoys building high-performing teams, improving operational performance, strengthening governance, and creating the infrastructure required to support sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the operational, client service, and paraplanning functions to deliver outstanding colleague and client outcomes.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve our Target Operating Model, creating an efficient, scalable, and high-performing business.
  • Ensure strong governance, regulatory alignment, and operational controls in line with FCA expectations and Consumer Duty.

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll work closely with the Managing Director, Compliance Director, and the wider Executive Management Team, alongside leaders across client service, paraplanning, financial planning, and business support functions.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced operational leader from an IFA, financial planning or wealth management background, with strong leadership, operational and regulatory experience. Level 4 Diploma required.

  • Proven experience leading operational functions across client service and/or paraplanning teams.
  • Strong understanding of operational strategy, governance, and business improvement.
  • Experience developing scalable operational models to support business growth.
  • Strong people leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Experience leading operational change, technology implementation, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to balance client experience, operational efficiency, and business performance.
