Overview

Our Boston branch is recruiting for an experienced Mechanic to join their team. B A Bush and Son Ltd, part of the Bush Group, is a 4th generation family run business based in Horncastle, Lincolnshire. The branch offers a quality Fast Fit Service to our customers, including tyre fitting (car, van & 4×4), alignments, batteries, in addition to MOT/Service work.

Role purpose

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to diagnose faults
• Carry out maintenance and repair work, as part of a small team your role will be integral to providing a high level of customer service.
• Complete relevant administrative paperwork as required.
• Understand and adhere to all relevant Health and Safety requirements, including policies and procedures
• Communicate the Bush Group vision for “quality at all costs”.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Deliver work to the highest standard to fulfil our high customer service standards
• Self educate on technical information with the assistance of internal training and relevant external training courses
• Contribute to good housekeeping routines

This role is 42 hours per week and salary is dependant on experience.

Proven mechanical experience in a similar role is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience: mechanical: 3 years (preferred)
• Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (preferred)
