A Unique Opportunity to Join Bushmills Distillery. Bushmills Distillery is the home of the famous Bushmills Irish Whiskey, the world's oldest licensed whiskey distillery and one of the Causeway Coast's top visitor attractions, receiving approximately 200,000 visitors per year from all over the globe. We are now looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our team.

The maintenance reliability engineer will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of efficient maintenance, repair, problem solving and process improvement of assets and their availability across Old Bushmills Distillery Site. You will be accountable for the asset integrity programme and providing professional engineering support for the maintenance and reliability of equipment. You will play a leading role in identifying and implementing mechanical/process improvements to enhance maintainability, safety, production rate and quality, and reduce cost, all while ensuring compliance with site standards and external regulatory requirements.

To apply you must have the following:

  • Candidates must have a degree in a related engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years field and maintenance reliability engineering experience.
  • Experience with problem solving techniques such as 5 Whys, RCPS.
  • Knowledge of TPM/Lean manufacturing methodologies and experience in review of engineering manuals and drawings.
  • Skilled in diagnosis and repairing complex machines and faults.
  • Excellent organisational, time management, leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and communication skills.
  • Proven understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Health and Safety and PPM systems.
  • Understand engineering drawing and be able to navigate machine manuals.
  • Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Desirable:

  • A recognised health and safety qualification.
  • CompEx trained.
  • 17th or 18th edition PLC Experience.
