A Unique Opportunity to Join Bushmills Distillery. Bushmills Distillery is the home of the famous Bushmills Irish Whiskey. It is one of the Causeway Coast's top visitor attractions, receiving approximately 200,000 visitors per year from all over the globe.
We are now looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join our 2026 Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship Scheme. The Apprenticeship is designed to focus initially on building specialist skills in mechanical engineering and will then move towards building skills within electrics and electronics. The Apprenticeship would ideally suit someone with a keen interest in becoming an Electrical Engineer.
The Apprentice will learn the fundamentals within Distilling, Maturation & Packaging and will carry out maintenance activities in all areas of the Distillery.
Minimum entry requirements:
- 5 GCSEs with grade C or above.
- GCSE Maths and English are essential.
The successful candidate will be expected to enrol at NRC Ballymena Campus for the Level 2 Engineering apprenticeship course, progressing to the Level 3 engineering apprenticeship and will attend college weekly during term time. You will need to apply directly to the college for the apprenticeship and would be expected to travel to Ballymena to attend the course on site.
