We are seeking to appoint a motivated individual to the above position to complement our existing management team for the Venue Leisure Centre.

Reporting directly to the Area Manager your role will extend across a range of responsibilities within the facilities in Borehamwood.

You will be vital in ensuring our business targets are achieved, through both planning and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Management of Operational staff, training and to assist other department managers to exceed financial targets and control cost where possible.
  • The role will include additional responsibilities as required by the Area Manager consummate with your skills, experience and the needs of the business.
  • Inspiring and guiding a team of Duty Managers across a wide set of responsibilities maintaining the highest standards throughout.
  • Taking responsibility of service standards, staffing, department payroll and health and safety legislations within the facilities.

Qualifications

  • You must have management experience in a leisure environment, including operational experience.
  • You will hold a current NPLQ qualification, First Aid at Work Certificate, Pool Plant Operations Certificate, and instructors’ qualification.
  • The ideal candidate will also have knowledge and experience of quality service standards and Health and Safety legislation.
  • You will be expected to be available as and when the business requires, including working shifts, weekend working and emergency call-out.
