We are looking for an Assistant Director to work on our upcoming production of Global Majority by Chris Fung. Global Majority is an exhilarating, unflinching thriller from Tony Craze Award-winning writer Chris Fung, whose previous work includes The Society for New Cuisine, and director Rupert Hands, whose credits include End of the Rainbow.

Hours: 4 – 5 days a week from the start date of rehearsals until press night. Some additional hours may be necessary to fulfill the requirements of the role. Noting the show post-press night may also be required.

Fee: £2675 to cover the period from appointment to Press Night. A fee of £50 per performance will also be offered for any show watches requested throughout the run (maximum once a week).

Ideal start date: Thursday 22nd of October

Purpose of the role: The Assistant Director will work closely with director Rupert Hands to provide creative and administrative support during the creation of the show. This will be a freelance full-time commitment and the Assistant Director will work on the show throughout the rehearsal process, technical rehearsals and previews up to and including Press Night. During the run they will also attend a performance at least once a week for noting and supporting the production. The schedule will be agreed with the theatre and director in advance.
