You will play a vital role in supporting him to live life to the fullest – assisting with daily living, personal care, therapies, and social activities, while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

About the Client

  • Lives at home with family in a comfortable, purpose-built property

Needs help with:

  • Personal care and hygiene
  • Nutrition and maintaining a balanced diet
  • Medication administration

Health and Wellbeing Awareness

The client’s health can fluctuate due to the nature of his complex needs and medical history, including his recovery from sepsis. Support Workers are expected to be observant and responsive, recognising any changes in his presentation, mood, or physical wellbeing. It is essential that care and support are adjusted appropriately in response to these changes, while ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety are maintained at all times. Any variations in health or behaviour should be promptly reported and documented in line with the care plan and guidance from the relevant health care professional.

What We’re Looking For

  • A bubbly, positive personality with a “can do” attitude
  • Someone reliable, compassionate, and proactive
  • Ability to work well within a small, supportive team
  • Full clean driving licence (required for insurance purposes)
  • Experience with complex needs, brain injury, or sepsis recovery is desirable – but full training and support will be provided
  • Knowledge or experience of behaviours that may challenge is an advantage
