Our client is an 18‑year‑old girl who lives at home with her mum, dad, and two dogs. She is a very happy girl who enjoys listening to music, listening to stories, and taking part in other activities. She really enjoys music, watching Disney movies and playing on her iPad. She has a very close family network along with friends at school. She has cerebral palsy and epilepsy, both of which are managed with medication. She uses a wheelchair, hoist and slings for transfers. She does not communicate verbally.
Support Role Responsibilities
- Assist with administering medications
- Complete PEG feeding following a feeding regime
- Complete personal care
- Moving and handling
