2 x Part Time Support Workers required
Rikki is a 56 year old man living in his own home with the support of a well-established 24 hour. He enjoys watching TV and is not very keen to go out of his home. He is interested in Elvis and talking about cars and how they work.
As Rikki’s PA your role will involve providing practical hands‑on support with physical tasks, personal care, administration of medication, manual handling and meal preparation among other duties. Rikki has a detailed care plan in place and all training to meet Rikki’s needs is provided. We are looking for someone who can commit to the shift pattern above. Flexibility to pick up additional shifts as required would also be helpful.
Previous experience supporting an adult with a brain injury in their own home is essential.
Driver preferred but not essential.
Rates of Pay
- Weekday £16.00 per hour
- Bank Holiday £24.00 per hour
Hours of Work
An average of 15.26 hours per week based on the following rota
- Week 1: 11.5 hours
- Week 2: 11.5 hours
- Week 3: 6.5 hours
- Week 4: 33 hours
Due to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
