Part Time Support Worker Our client is a 16 year old young person who lives with his parents in the Northampton area. He is looking for a personal assistant to support him in his activities including playing football and attending the gym, with socialising and expanding his range of hobbies and social interests and to support him in his academic work. In addition, you will support the client with skills such as cooking and independence skills. The ideal candidate will have a youthful outlook, a range of interests and an ability to enthuse others. Knowledge of personal training would be an advantage. An understanding of brain injury and autism would further support your application. Previous experience working with young people with additional needs is essential. You must have a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle with business use car insurance. You will be expected to use your vehicle to transport our client. Hours of work • 8 hours per week 2 x 4 hour shifts • Rate of Pay • £18.00 per hour Due to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
