Location: Barnsley Salary: £14.00 – £15.00 per hour Hours: Part Time Contract: Permanent We are looking to build a small team of committed, reliable and motivated individuals with a bubbly, outgoing character to provide support for a young man who lives at home with his family. The person you will be supporting lives in an annex extension to the family property, which has separate living areas to assist with achieving independent living. The client has learning disabilities and mild physical disabilities. He would like people to help and support him being involved in day to day activities and therapies. The things he likes to do include music, TikTok, cooking & walking his dog. He requires some supervision with personal safety and wellbeing, medication and supporting a healthy & nutritional balanced diet. The client enjoys being independent and therefore on occasions may require supervision with mobility and personal care to ensure his safety and welfare is maintained. Previous experience working within care and with behaviours that may challenge is essential,  Full training and support will be given.  NVQ 2 is desirable Understanding of different cultural needs is desirable You will also be required to write detailed notes on a day to day basis. Applicants must hold a full clean driving licence and we must be able to obtain insurance for you to drive the clients vehicle. Hours of work: Initially 12 hours per week.  Week 1: Tuesday – 12:00 to 18:00 Thursday – 12:00 to 18:00 Week 2: Friday – 12:00 to 18:00 Sunday -12:00 to 18:00 Rate of pay: Weekday: £14.00 per hour Weekend: £15.00 per hour Night Rate (weekday): £14.00 per hour Night Rate (weekend): £15.00 per hour Sleep in rate: £11.44 per hour Due to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
