If you are passionate about outstanding patient care and being the first point of contact in a fast-paced healthcare environment, IC24 is looking for a professional, courteous, and highly organised Receptionist to join our Out-of-Hours (OOH) department.
Responsibilities
- As a key member of the team, you will be the welcoming face of IC24. You will receive patients into the OOH base, maintain accurate records, and ensure clinicians see patients in priority order while delivering a high standard of care and confidentiality.
- Greet and register patients professionally and efficiently.
- Manage a real-time log of expected patients.
- Direct clinicians based on patient priority.
- Always maintain confidentiality.
- Liaise with call centres for seamless coordination.
- Support doctors with communication and administrative tasks.
- Ensure medical supplies and stationery are well-stocked.
- Uphold and improve quality standards in patient service.
- Assist with filing and general administrative tasks.

Location, Hours, and Terms
- Location: Maidstone Hospital / Tunbridge Wells Hospital / Darent Valley Hospital.
- Hours: Full time 37.5 hours (mainly evenings and weekends).
- Term: Fixed term until 30 November 2025.
