We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Program Manager to support our Fulfillment Network Design and Optimization projects across our Amazon AU network. As a Program Manager, you will have a holistic view of inventory placement, Fulfillment Center (FC) operations, and transport operations. You will be an integral part of creating and implementing large-scale strategic initiatives in fulfillment optimization, delivery speed, delivery quality, and transportation cost reduction – all with the goal of better serving our customers.

There will rarely be a perfect solution, so it will be up to you to make data-driven decisions and manage stakeholder relationships while planning and executing within an ever-changing environment. Interfacing with AU FC Operations, Transportation, and Global Tech teams, the role demands strong analytical and mathematical capabilities, analyzing various supply chain data and metrics to aid in configuring our network to provide the best customer experience at the lowest cost to serve. You’ll be able to contribute directly to our customers’ experience with the Amazon supply chain, impact speed of delivery to millions of customers, and reduce fulfillment costs while maximizing free cash flow.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the supply chain network systems configurations for our Fulfillment centers, Middle Mile, and Last Mile networks.
  • Partner closely with local and global teams to develop long-term forecasts.
  • Partner with Global teams on product deployment.
  • Support new FC Site launches.
  • Manage transport costs to reduce Amazon's overall cost to serve.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Supply Chain Planning systems, understanding our Promise Engines, Order Planning, and Transport Systems to provide support to business units on how proposed changes will flow through our systems.
  • Manage Outbound (OB) Network Design for new site launches and OB configurations.
  • Measure important cost to serve metrics such as UPB, consolidation, and local fulfillment.
  • Provide data analysis for all CX programs (Speed, DEA, Regionalization).
  • Lead OB Optimization projects for AU Ops business (i.e., Regionalization).
  • Lead Tech parody work-streams (to align AU with other Amazon Marketplaces).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional experience in either supply chain and logistics, transportation, operations, and/or e-commerce industries.
  • Relevant program or project management experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prepare, report, and analyze large sets of data.
  • Knowledge in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL at a medium level.
  • Experience defining program requirements including using data and metrics to determine improvements.
  • Knowledge of Tableau at an intermediate level (ability to create reports).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Experience in driving process improvements.
  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University.
