You apply deep technical expertise and experience in software application layer solutions, to develop and deliver scalable design blueprints across the end-to-end software development life cycle. What You'll Do

  • Lead the Sterling (Logistics-OM) team, providing architectural guidance and technical expertise.
  • Design, develop, and optimize order management workflows using IBM Sterling OMS.
  • Architect and implement Spring Boot-based microservices for logistics and supply chain solutions.
  • Integrate middleware solutions to ensure smooth communication between OMS, 3PLs, and other enterprise systems.
  • Provide expertise in DB2, IBM MQ, and cloud-based architectures for high-performance order processing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new initiatives that enhance business operations.
  • Serve as the go-to person for all OMS-related issues, troubleshooting and optimizing system performance.
  • Ensure best practices in scalability, security, and reliability within the OMS ecosystem.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and the Product Owner to drive continuous improvements in supply chain operations.

About You

  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS).
  • Strong understanding of order orchestration, fulfillment processes, and supply chain integration.
  • Experience with API integrations, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Proficiency in Java, SQL, and scripting languages.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at various levels.

Highly desirable:

  • Experience with large-scale fulfillment and e-commerce systems.
  • Knowledge of demand forecasting and inventory management.
  • Experience working with 3PL logistics and warehouse management systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
  • IBM Certified Solution Architect - Sterling Order Management
  • IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Sterling B2B Integrator
