Who are you?
As a Principal Data and AI Consultant at Cevo, you’ll need a combination of technical skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication.
- 7+ years in a hands-on role in the data and technology industry
- Experience in data architecture and solution design for modern data platforms
- Recent extensive experience in Data Engineering, stretching into AI and ML
- Previous Consulting experience within enterprise environments
- 2+ years’ experience in a senior hands-on data engineering role, leading technical teams
- You hold AWS Certifications in:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty
- AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty
Desired skills would include:
- AWS Expertise: Proficiency in AWS data, analytics, and AI / ML services such as Amazon S3, Redshift, SageMaker, Glue, Bedrock, and Amazon Q.
- Hands-on experience with designing and implementing large-scale, distributed data platforms and AI / ML models on AWS.
- Data Engineering and Architecture: Strong background in data engineering, including ETL processes, data warehousing, and data lakes.
- Experience with data architecture, ensuring data quality, governance, and security.
- Machine Learning and AI: Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their integration with AWS services.
- Ability to build, train, and deploy machine learning models on AWS.
- Business Acumen: Ability to connect data, analytics, and AI solutions to measurable business outcomes.

- Experience in authoring customer-facing content like whitepapers and blog posts.
- Presales: Taking a leadership role in presales (EOI, RFI, RFP) activities, presenting solutions to our clients and answering questions in a presales environment.
