Physical Security Specialist

Job Description: KEY SKILLS & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

System Administration

• System administrator experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving the system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, and implementing new workstations and systems.

Security Platforms

• Ability to configure and troubleshoot issues on security platforms (Honeywell EBI, Genetec, Traka, Quantum Safe, etc.).

Ticket Management

• Manage and resolve tickets within SLA.
• Engage with users for sharing feedback on the tickets.

Security Incidents Handling

• Handle site security incidents, escalations, or any other security-related issues.

Stakeholder Management

• Stakeholder and internal team management.

Reporting

• Write reports and communicate with management on the status of physical security operations.

Technical Proficiency

• Technically strong to understand the complexity of tickets and prioritize accordingly.
• Proficient in incident management security operations, risk analysis, and emergent security intelligence.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in security or related fields.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience configuring and modifying access control systems (Honeywell EBI, Genetec, Traka, Quantum Safe, etc.), previous experience working within an operations center.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software – using MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment & minimum 8 years of experience demonstrating high-level customer service skills.

Fast-Paced Environment

• Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment where numerous systems/applications/software are highly dependent.

Communication Skills

• Proficient English verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.

Analytical Skills

• Strong data-driven decision making and analytical skills.
