Role Overview
OziHouse Group specializes in providing comprehensive services for international students, including accommodation, homestay programs, study tours, and student support. We are committed to fostering a welcoming and engaging environment for students studying abroad.
The Operations & Student Engagement role is key to ensuring international students feel supported throughout their stay. This role includes student services, booking management, property oversight, and operational tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong customer service mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to build meaningful relationships. Prior experience in accommodation settings such as hostels or hotels and familiarity with property management systems (PMS) like Cloudbeds is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Student Services
- Act as the primary contact for international students, addressing inquiries and concerns.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation for a smooth transition.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure students receive necessary support.
- Develop programs to enhance student engagement and satisfaction.
Booking Management
- Manage reservations and room allocations to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Utilize Cloudbeds or similar PMS for efficient booking and record-keeping.
- Address booking inquiries, cancellations, and modifications promptly.
- Ensure seamless communication between students, staff, and accommodation partners.
Property Management
- Oversee daily student housing operations and facility management.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors for repairs and upkeep.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operational efficiency.
Operations Management
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain records, reports, and administrative documentation.
- Perform light maintenance tasks and coordinate contractor-led repairs.
- Support operational improvements to enhance the OziHouse experience.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in student accommodation, hostels, or hotels.
- Familiarity with Cloudbeds or similar PMS.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on student engagement.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance and repair coordination.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
