Head of Deposit Portfolio Growth – Melbourne or Sydney based.

As the Head of Deposit Portfolio Growth, you will lead a broad cross-functional team to identify “untapped” household deposit opportunities in NAB’s back book. You will work closely with our data and analytics teams, marketing, distribution and product to identify these opportunities and define the approach to winning them.
As the Head of Deposit Portfolio Growth, you will:
- Define the strategy and roadmap to realise “untapped” household deposit opportunities in NAB’s back book.
- Set up and lead a cross-functional squad to systematically identify untapped household deposit opportunities.
- Work across the value chain (distribution, marketing, data, change, product and pricing) to define the strategy, roadmap and dependencies for realising these household deposit opportunities.
- In conjunction with distribution and the Domains, deliver the untapped opportunities and associated performance reporting.
- Drive a customer-obsessed culture, creating deposit propositions for target segments that delight customers.
- Prioritise scope items for delivery in the roadmap.
- Define success measures and report on performance.
- Coach, develop and mentor members of your team.
What you will bring:
- 10+ years’ experience within Banking / Financial and / or Wealth services, with a focus on deposits and everyday banking, strategic planning and execution.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organisation.
- Business related degree and / or post-graduate professional qualification is preferred.
- Analytics / Data Science background will be highly regarded.
