NZCL are looking for energetic and motivated people to support our clients in residential service in Rangiora.
We are looking for permanent full time Support Workers to work alongside, coach and mentor Rangatahi and Tamariki in our Intensive Support Services in Rangiora.
This roster is mainly night shift.
What does a Support Worker do?|He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi Tautoko
Our Support Workers assist Rangitahi and Tamariki who access our services to live as independently as possible in their community. You will:
- Work as a team to ensure consistency in your approach.
- Support Tamariki or Rangitahi to go to school or access education.
- Observe and respond to health concerns or support the overall health and wellbeing of the young person
- Support Rangitahi/Young People to work towards and attain their goals and improve outcomes.

- A desire to support our rangitahi / young people to learn new skills and achieve outcomes.
- Previous experience working with young people/rangitahi.
- An understanding of Intellectual disability and Autism.
- Creativity \’out of the box\’ thinking and a team player.
- A full NZ driver\’s license.
