We are seeking a Human Resources Associate Director to join our team in Melbourne, Sydney, or Brisbane.

Role Overview: Supporting the ANZ HR Operations Director to provide additional senior capability to the HR function within Australia & Aotearoa New Zealand, and to deliver our people strategy within the region. The Associate Director role leads the implementation of HR services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff and frontline management, providing support and guidance to people leaders about Human Resources practices, processes, and issues.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • HR Solutions: Supporting the ANZ HR Operations Director to implement the regional People Plan and associated Resource management and development. Providing relevant and timely HR advice to reporting and analytics.
  • Stakeholder Relationships & Leadership: Developing and sustaining relationships across the business. Engaging with Global HR team as appropriate to deploy relevant programs within the ANZ region. Managing the local HR team with oversight on offshore HR teams.
  • Employee Life Cycle: Leading best practices across the employee life cycle. Developing and documenting policies.
  • Communication & Resolution: Ensuring effective communication at all levels. Guiding leadership in resolving performance and employee relations matters.

Qualifications: We are seeking a proactive, adaptable, service-focused HR leader. Ideal candidates will:

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Human Resources.
  • Have 8-10 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Possess experience in a consultancy, engineering, or legal firm environment.
  • Hold the right to work in Australia.
